The handle is crafted from exotic Chechen wood—commercially prized in luxury woodworking as Caribbean Rosewood. Sourced from sustainable Central American hardwood forests, Chechen wood is celebrated for its remarkable density, high natural luster, and dramatic grain patterns. Ranging in color from warm golden-amber to rich dark chocolate hues, its tight, intertwining grain yields a silky-smooth finish in the hand while offering exceptional resistance to wear and moisture over a lifetime of use.
