Important Note on Use: Waiter-style corkscrews are designed for use with a secure grip on the bottle neck. Please do not use the tool by clamping the bottle between your knees and pulling the handle. This technique often applies excessive force, which is likely to bend the screw (worm) and will immediately void the product warranty.

To keep your pocket knife or corkscrew in top condition, follow these maintenance tips:

  1. Lubricate Moving Parts: Periodically apply a few drops of lubricant to all moving parts. This ensures smooth operation and extends the life of your knife.
  2. Hand Wash Only: Always hand-wash your pocket knife. After washing, dry it quickly with a soft towel to prevent rust and corrosion.

Knife for Kings (& Queens)

Recent Windsor Castle visitation (Dec 02nd, 2024; about 20 miles west of London), confiscated my Oak Barrel Laguiole, for being >5'' in length, I suppose. Security is tighter than TSA there, even when the King (or Queen) is away, in other castles, palaces.. Am going to write to the Director of the Castle, asking for the knife back; but, in the meantime, gotta have it, my most fave knife. So, buying here another one in mid-Dec 2024. Actually, this is my 3rd Oak Barrel Laguiole; lost the first one somewheres in Page, AZ, earlier this year. Three will be the charm.
