Each Magnum Laguiole handle is crafted from the tip of a ram's horn. Dark ram horns are also available and are the most sought after, as they are the hardest to find; most rams have lighter-colored horns. Due to the unique characteristics of ram horn, the metal rivets on the handle may not be perfectly flush with the handle material.
