The Chateau Laguiole® Grand Cru series was created to meet the rigorous demands of professional wine service. While maintaining the elegant silhouette of the original 1993 design found in the Classic Collection, the Grand Cru models feature reinforced heavy-duty bolsters and a more robust construction designed to uncork over 20 bottles a day for years of service. Like every authentic Chateau Laguiole, this piece is 100% Made in France.
Handle Character: This Grand Cru model features a handle crafted from genuine Light Horn Tip (Corne Claire). Sourced from the solid, dense tip of the horn, this natural material is prized for its translucent quality and elegant color variations. The palette ranges from warm ivory and soft cream to delicate honey-gold and light tan marbling. Hand-polished to a brilliant, high-gloss luster, the light horn tip provides a prestigious, timeless aesthetic. Included Black Sheath: The authentic Chateau Laguiole black belt sheath fits belts up to 2.5" wide. Each sheath is crafted from meticulously chosen genuine cowhide and is produced by Max Capdebarthes in France.
Horn Tip from domestic cattle. The tip of the horn is the hardest and most durable, Inferior horn handles are made from the bottom of the horn which will warp with time.

Since 2020 all genuine Château Laguiole corkscrews come with a registration card to be validated online. This is the only assurance of their authenticity and warranty.

Chateau Laguiole are shipped same business day from Florida when ordered by 4 PM Eastern time. UPS delivery can be expected in 1 to 3 business days depending on destination. International shipping options are available at checkout.
*We provide free U.S. base warranty and repair support exclusively to our customers. Items purchased elsewhere will need to be shipped to France and back to the U.S. at the owner's expanse. The original retailer will need to be contacted for assistance.
All Chateau Laguiole wine openers are made of 12C27 stainless steel and weigh around 4 oz (113 grams). The overall length closed is 4.5 inches (11.40 cm).
The foils cutter is serrated and measures 1.5/8 inches ~ 4.06 cm).
Pocket Knife
Pocket Knives are designed for cutting only. Please do not use it as a screwdriver, crowbar, or wood chisel, as this can cause irreversible damage and void the warranty.

Important Note on Use: Waiter-style corkscrews are designed for use with a secure grip on the bottle neck. Please do not use the tool by clamping the bottle between your knees and pulling the handle. This technique often applies excessive force, which is likely to bend the screw (worm) and will immediately void the product warranty.
