This Chateau Laguiole was created in honor of Andreas Larsson of Sweden, winner of the 2007 world's best sommelier contest.
The Best Sommeliers Series was created by Master Sommeliers Guy Vialis to celebrate the world's best sommeliers. Each authorized piece was designed with the Sommelier's input and, as a result, reflects his preferences.
Since debuting in 1993 Chateau Laguiole has been the favorite corkscrew of many of the world's best sommeliers. To this day it remains the most popular high-end waiter-style corkscrews in the business. All genuine Chateau Laguiole like this one are Made in France.
Naturally shed Reindeer's stag harvested in Sweden. This noble material combines incredible strength and beauty. Due to the nature of genuine stag, the actual handle color and shape (width) of the piece you will receive may be vary from the provided images.
Since 2020 all genuine Château Laguiole corkscrews come with a registration card to be validated online. This is the only assurance of their authenticity and warranty.

The foils cutter is serrated and measures 1.5/8 inches ~ 4.06 cm).
Hand wash only, do not immerse in water. We Recommend the use of Tuf-Glide Oil-Free Lubricant 1/4 oz Pen. Periodically place a couple of drops of lubricant on the axle of all moving parts.
