The Laguiole Village® manufacture is located 20 miles south of Laguiole. This state of the art manufacturer is known for using the latest eco-friendly CNC and water pressure cutting tools. All parts of this knife are assembled by a master cutler. The spring (top of knife) is unique to each knife and filled by hand. These knives also feature a one piece forged bee and spring. What is a Forged Bee? You can recognize a forged bee when you look just below it, where it meets the decorated spring. If you do not see any gaps, it's a good sign that the bee and spring were forged from the same piece of metal.
