Alto Braco 12 cm Brut de Forge

The handle of these limited edition folding knives are made from an Oak beam recovered during the renovation of a centuries-old "Buron" (a Shepherd's Hut) located on the Aubrac's high plateau in Aveyron, France. It is believed that such structures (usually impossible to date) can easily be over 200 years old, making the actual oak used during the original construction at least 3 to 4 hundred years old. "Alto Braco" is the original name in Occitan of the Aubrac National Park and translates to "High-Plateau".
