As always, Laguiole Imports came through in spades from extreme hi-res product shots, to shipping updates, timeliness, and immaculate packaging. The sole critique I have may be outside the company’s control. Due to the warthog handles’s natural shape (i.e. it isn’t flat), the rivets’ sharp edges protrude from the surface and become tactile in a negative, distracting way. They somewhat ruin the experience of opening an elegant bottle of wine, especially given this Magnum corkscrew’s $599 price tag. Not sure if component placement, technique, or treatment by the manufacturer can resolve this design issue, but again, this is not something that Laguiole Imports is responsible for. I’m a huge fan of this wonderful retailer and would buy from them again in a heartbeat.
