The handle is carved from premium Cocobolo, a true rosewood known for its incredible density and high natural oil content, which provides a smooth, lustrous finish. It is famous for its kaleidoscopic grain, featuring a rich palette of orange, deep red, and dark brown streaks. Because the dramatic swirling patterns of Cocobolo are as unique as a fingerprint, every knife in this collection is individually photographed. Each knife features a forged bee and a full-length, hand-chiseled spring, along with a solid hardened blade stop.
