Included Black Sheath: Every Melchior corkscrew includes an authentic Chateau Laguiole black belt sheath. Crafted from meticulously chosen genuine cowhide by Max Capdebarthes in the village of Sauveterre de Rouergue, this sheath fits belts up to 2.5" wide and is designed to provide years of professional service.
Stamina wood is a laminate made of veneers that have been dyed, then impregnated with phenolic resin, and compressed under high pressure and heat.
Since 2020 all genuine Château Laguiole corkscrews come with a registration card to be validated online. This is the only assurance of their authenticity and warranty.
