  Named after the village of Yssingeaux (translation from local dialect = five cockerels), this knife honors the Gallic Rooster, the unofficial national bird of France. With his rooster crest look-back mechanism and Teflon washers, this charismatic knife’s blade action operates smoothly and safely during opening and closing.

Technical aspects: Smooth, easy opening & closing is provided by a Teflon-assisted lock back system. This knife also features a solid hardened blade stop to help prevent the blade's edge from making contact with the inner area of the spring. 100% Made in France

Handle Material: Narra, Amboyna. Amboyna is technically not a distinct species but is the name of several of the Narra Pterocarpus indicus species. Amboyna is among the most expensive and sought-after of wood and is frequently sold as a veneer or as small turning/craft blanks.
