The stunning Chateau Laguiole corkscrew featuring a red and black design is inspired by the classic French novel "Le rouge et le Noir" (The Red and the Black).
The Chateau Laguiole® was created in 1993 by Master Sommelier Guy Vialis and was the first actual waiter-style Laguiole style corkscrew on the market. The sheath: The original Chateau Laguiole black belt sheath is used by countless waiters worldwide. This sheath accommodates belts up to 2 1/2" wide. Each sheath is made from carefully selected genuine cowhide is manufactured by Max Capdebarth of France.

Since 2020 all genuine Château Laguiole corkscrews come with a registration card to be validated online. This is the only assurance of their authenticity and warranty.
