are entirely hand chiseled (thus the price) and entirely made by the same craftsman or woman. Additionally the bee's unique design can be traced back to the very person that chiseled it. In other words, if you were going to the village of Laguiole and visit the workshop (please do) you could show your knife and meet with the artist that created it - if he or she is working that day of course. Please note: Since all knives in the collector series are unique each knife showed on the photos is the actual knife that is shipped! Tip: Look for the chiseling on the bees and springs, they are all unique.
