Love the knife! Fits in the pocket very comfortably. Opens kinda stiff but I’m sure it will work in perfectly!

The Medium Classic Old Bear is a great knife to carry with you at all times. It's small enough for your pocket, but the size and shape of this blade mean it can handle more tasks than just cutting cheese or opening letters. The strong locking mechanism provides an added level of safety while performing harder tasks.
Technical aspects: Old Bear® knives feature a locking mechanism that is consistently smooth and, most importantly, equally effective in locking the blade in both open and closed positions. Moreover, it is important to note that the blade can be locked or unlocked with a right-handed user's thumb finger. Contrary to one's first impression, the protuberant locking knob is not in the way and doesn't affect the use of the highly ergonomic handle.
Good to know: Antonini's Old Bear® knives are entirely hand-assembled and carefully finished, unlike other similar mass-produced knives.
Locking system: Fully hand-brushed brass safety ring. This patented system locks the blade closed or open - Lupo patents n.1187282. Brass must be periodically polished to retain its shine. If left untreated, it will return to its natural copper alloy dark finish, which can be desirable to some.
This knife features a hardened AISI 420 stainless steel blade. This metal's ease of sharpening combined with its stain and corrosion resistance will make for a versatile everyday carry knife.
- 100% Made in Maniago, Italy
- Ultra-Light construction
- Stone hand-sharpened
- One finger lock/unlock
- Highly ergonomic handle
- Individually hand-assembled
Included: Pocket knife with Box & Documentation in English & Italian & French
Handle Material: Oil-treated American Walnut
Blade: High carbon hardened AISI 420 stainless steel - HRC 54/56 -9307 series
Blade Size: 8.1 cm – 3.19" - 2 mm thick - Yatagan style
Open Size: 19 cm – 7 1/2"
Closed size: 11 cm – 4 1/3"
Good to know: Since the raw materials have been subjected to manual processes, every knife is unique and not standardized. Small surface irregularities can sometimes be found and are simply a testament to a manual process and do not affect the knife's functionality in any way.
Weight: ~ 46 grams - 1.6 oz
Hand wash only, do not immerse in water for prolonged period of time, doing so will affect the proper function of the Lupo locking system. We Recommend the use of Tuf-Glide Oil Free Lubricant 1/4 oz Pen. Periodically place a couple drops of lubricant on the axle of all moving parts. More details here - $8.95
