Forge de Laguiole Corkscrew Horn Tip Handle

Rated 5.0 out of 5
Based on 1 review

This Forge de Laguiole corkscrew features a handle crafted from a solid Light Horn Tip. The tip is the densest and most durable part of the horn, providing a substantial, weighted feel in the hand. This material is highly prized for its luminous, translucent quality, ranging from creamy whites and pale yellows to rich honey tones, with natural marbling that makes every piece unique.

Handmade in Laguiole, France, these corkscrews—often referred to as the "Sommeliers"—are the only high-end waiter-style tools featuring the traditional Shepherd's Cross meticulously pinned to the handle.

Developed in collaboration with professional sommeliers worldwide, this tool’s ergonomics, elegance, and efficiency earned it the prestigious "Prix Design Plus" award in Frankfurt, Germany. Each masterpiece is entirely hand-assembled by a single master craftsman to ensure the highest standards of quality and a sense of pride in the finished object.

Corkscrews

Important Note on Use: Waiter-style corkscrews are designed for use with a secure grip on the bottle neck. Please do not use the tool by clamping the bottle between your knees and pulling the handle. This technique often applies excessive force, which is likely to bend the screw (worm) and will immediately void the product warranty.

To keep your pocket knife or corkscrew in top condition, follow these maintenance tips:

  1. Lubricate Moving Parts: Periodically apply a few drops of lubricant to all moving parts. This ensures smooth operation and extends the life of your knife.
  2. Hand Wash Only: Always hand-wash your pocket knife. After washing, dry it quickly with a soft towel to prevent rust and corrosion.
  3. Recommended Lubricant: We highly recommend using Sentry-Solutions Tuf Glide for all our folding knives. It provides excellent lubrication and protection.

Important Note: Tuf Glide is not considered a "food-safe" product. Avoid using it on knives that come into contact with food.

By following these simple steps, you can ensure that your item remains reliable and ready for your next adventure.

"I firmly believe that the tool employed to uncork anexquisite bottle of wine should embody the same level of perfection as the individuals who crafted it."
