Handle Character: This Grand Cru model features a handle crafted from vibrant Green Stamina (Staminawood). Staminawood is a high-tech material composed of natural wood veneers impregnated with resin and dyed under intense pressure. This process results in a handle that possesses the organic beauty and grain of real wood but with the added benefits of extreme durability, water resistance, and a striking, consistent emerald hue. Hand-polished to a high-gloss finish, the Green Stamina handle provides a comfortable, ergonomic grip that stands up perfectly to the humidity and frequent handling of a busy professional environment.

Included Black Sheath: The authentic Chateau Laguiole black belt sheath fits belts up to 2.5" wide. Each sheath is crafted from meticulously chosen genuine cowhide and is produced by Max Capdebarthes in France.
Stamina wood is a laminate made of veneers that have been dyed, then impregnated with phenolic resin, and compressed under high pressure and heat.
Since 2020 all genuine Château Laguiole corkscrews come with a registration card to be validated online. This is the only assurance of their authenticity and warranty.
