Rouennais D-Day Titanium Black G10 Handle Linerlock Folding Knife

  • The Raven's Beak pocket knife.
This traditional French knife was very popular during the 18th century. With the handle's end shaped like a raven's beak (bec de corbin) in French, it was sold everywhere in France. Its drop-point blade is safely nestled in the "raven's beak" handle thus preventing the blade's point from protruding.
The Raven's Beak series is easily distinguished by its unusual handle shape. The inspiration comes from the historical Roquefort knife. The Raven's Beak delightfully combines modern lines and high-tech construction while keeping the 18th-century style. The addition of a large nail groove balances its design and modernize the lines.
In honor of all GIs that have indeed used the original Raven's Beak while in France Arto has reinvented the classic using modern tools, material, and safety features.
