We ship Chateau Laguiole to France the first of every months. It may take up to 30 days for the manufacturer to repair and return the corkscrews to us in Florida. As a result, we are estimating the turnaround to be around 2 months.
Our fee includes: Shipping to France + Return shipping from France to Florida + Return shipping to your U.S Address.
Our fee does not include: Repair cost if it is found that the issue with your tool is nor related to a manufacturer defect. If your Chateau Laguiole requiers a "non-warranty repair" a repair cost will be provided to you for approval. Cost of repair varies from $20 to $50 depending on part(s) to be replaced. Note that the repair cost provided to you is the cost the manufacturer is charging us.
Note: Our repair and warranty service is a non-profit transaction, it was created to help Chateau Laguiole owners.
YES! As of April 2018, we have been authorized by the manufacturer to handle all warranty and repair claims for the United States regardless if the Chateau Laguiole was purchased from us.
Note: If your claim was previously turndown because your item was not purchased from us, please resubmit it.
As of April 2018 the new ownership of Chateau Laguiole as amended the warranty on all past and future Chateau Laguiole.
All Chateau Laguiole Classic and similar models without a front bolster: 3 year warranty againts manufacturer's defects from proof of purchase or (warranty registration, comming soon).
NOTE:All previously purchased Chateau Laguiole Classic will be "grandfathered in" and will receive a one time warranty repair regardless of when the item was purchased.
All other models: Lifetime againts manufacturer's defects.
After completing your order/request you may ship your corkscrew via the carrier of your choice. Please make sure that you are using a trackable service that will show that the package was delivered to us. USPS First class and Priority Mail with delivery confirmation are the most cost evective ways.
