• The Capuchin pocket knife.
  The Capuchin or "Capucin" in French is the oldest replica within the 6644 series of historical French knives. This knife was fairly common during the 17th century; the handles were made of very easily found materials such as horn tip and woods such as oak.  With its conical tip designed to evoke the hooded shape of the Capuchin monks, it was sold everywhere in France. Its blade, shaped like a sage leaf was safely lodged in the Capuchin, thus avoiding the tip from protruding in the pocket. Made in France
