Robust Ambidextrous Design

The C.A.C.® is engineered to be robust and adaptable. Its ambidextrous design allows for easy one-handed opening and closing, making it an essential tool for any mission.

Advanced Materials

  • Nitrox® Steel Blade: The blade is made from Nitrox®, a stainless steel doped with nitrogen to replace part of the carbon. This special formulation offers exceptional corrosion resistance and cutting capacity.
  • PVD Coating: Further enhancing its durability, the blade is coated with PVD, adding an extra layer of protection against the elements.

Blade length: 3.35" / 85mm
Blade: Nitrox®
Sharpening angle (2 sides):  17°
Hardness (HRC) +/-1:55
Cut: Smooth
Ambidextrous:Yes

The C.A.C.® blade is made of stainless steel doped with nitrogen, called Nitrox®.

Featuring 16% chromium and a carbon content of 0.35%, Nitrox® is easy to sharpen and resists corrosion like few martensitic steels.Nitroxis a unique nitrogen-doped steel that stands out in the world of high-performance materials.

By introducing nitrogen into its formulation, Nitrox® replaces part of the carbon, enhancing its corrosion resistance without compromising its exceptional cutting capabilities. This innovation makes Nitrox® an ideal choice for knife experts who demand superior performance and durability.

Changing the direction of use of the belt clip

The C.A.C.® knife is designed to be used by both right-handed and left-handed individuals. You can adjust the position of the belt clip to the side that is most convenient for you. To change the side of the belt clip, follow these steps:

1. Remove the 3 stainless steel screws.

2. Place the belt clip on the opposite side of the knife.

3. Reattach the 3 stainless steel screws.

It is recommended to use thread lock on the screws before tightening to prevent them from coming loose unexpectedly.

Replacing the strap cutter blade

To disassemble the knife, first remove the belt clip (2) and the side of the handle (3) by unscrewing the 5 shiny stainless steel screws (1). Then replace the blade (4). If the corkscrew (3) is on the same side as the belt clip (2), only 2 screws (1) need to be removed, and the dimension (3) should also be removed. Again, replace the blade (4). For reassembly, simply reverse the disassembly steps. We recommend using thread lock on the screws before tightening to prevent them from unscrewing unexpectedly.

Blade clearance adjustment
Please take note of the following information:

After prolonged use, you may notice a slight side-to-side movement at the blade axis. To ensure flawless operation in all situations, the adjustment of the blade axis (6) is secured by a specific shiny stainless steel locking screw (5). To make adjustments, remove the locking screw (5), then tighten or loosen the blade axle (6) as needed. Once you've made the adjustment, lock it in place by repositioning the locking screw (5) in one of the notches on the axle (6) provided for this purpose. It is recommended to apply thread lock to the screws before tightening. Please be cautious, as excessive tightening of the axle (6) will hinder the effective maneuvering of the blade. It is preferable to make a "free" adjustment that is only intended to compensate for any side-to-side movement.

How to Maintain Your Pocket Knife

Pocket Knives are designed for cutting only. Do not use it as a screwdriver, crowbar, wood chisel, as this can cause irreversible damage and void the warranty.

To keep your pocket knife in top condition, follow these maintenance tips:

  1. Lubricate Moving Parts: Periodically apply a few drops of lubricant to all moving parts. This ensures smooth operation and extends the life of your knife.
  2. Hand Wash Only: Always hand wash your pocket knife. After washing, dry it quickly with a soft towel to prevent rust and corrosion.
  3. Recommended Lubricant: We highly recommend using Sentry-Solutions Tuf Glide for all our folding knives. It provides excellent lubrication and protection.

Important Note: Tuf Glide is not considered a "food-safe" product. Avoid using it on knives that come into contact with food.

By following these simple steps, you can ensure that your pocket knife remains reliable and ready for your next adventure.
