Changing the direction of use of the belt clip
The C.A.C.® knife is designed to be used by both right-handed and left-handed individuals. You can adjust the position of the belt clip to the side that is most convenient for you. To change the side of the belt clip, follow these steps:
1. Remove the 3 stainless steel screws.
2. Place the belt clip on the opposite side of the knife.
3. Reattach the 3 stainless steel screws.
It is recommended to use thread lock on the screws before tightening to prevent them from coming loose unexpectedly.
Replacing the strap cutter blade
To disassemble the knife, first remove the belt clip (2) and the side of the handle (3) by unscrewing the 5 shiny stainless steel screws (1). Then replace the blade (4). If the corkscrew (3) is on the same side as the belt clip (2), only 2 screws (1) need to be removed, and the dimension (3) should also be removed. Again, replace the blade (4). For reassembly, simply reverse the disassembly steps. We recommend using thread lock on the screws before tightening to prevent them from unscrewing unexpectedly.
Blade clearance adjustment
Please take note of the following information:
After prolonged use, you may notice a slight side-to-side movement at the blade axis. To ensure flawless operation in all situations, the adjustment of the blade axis (6) is secured by a specific shiny stainless steel locking screw (5). To make adjustments, remove the locking screw (5), then tighten or loosen the blade axle (6) as needed. Once you've made the adjustment, lock it in place by repositioning the locking screw (5) in one of the notches on the axle (6) provided for this purpose. It is recommended to apply thread lock to the screws before tightening. Please be cautious, as excessive tightening of the axle (6) will hinder the effective maneuvering of the blade. It is preferable to make a "free" adjustment that is only intended to compensate for any side-to-side movement.
